The PR680W supports .pes, .phc, and .dst embroidery file formats. You can import designs via Wi-Fi, USB drive, or USB cable.
The Brother PR680W is a 6-needle, single-head embroidery machine with a maximum embroidery area of 300mm x 200mm (12” x 8”). It features a large 10.1" HD touchscreen, Wi-Fi connectivity, LED lighting, and automatic needle threading. The maximum embroidery speed is 1,000 stitches per minute.
The PR680W includes built-in Wi-Fi, allowing connection to Brother’s Artspira app and PE-Design 11 software, plus enhanced lighting, an improved camera positioning system, and more intuitive touchscreen controls. It also includes on-screen design editing, auto needle threading, and updated tension and thread sensors for smoother operation.
Yes. You can transfer embroidery designs wirelessly from your computer or mobile device using Wi-Fi and Brother’s Design Database Transfer software or Artspira mobile app, eliminating the need for USB sticks.
These dimensions make it compact enough for small studios while still offering professional features.
The machine features automatic needle threading for all 6 needles, allowing quick setup and colour changes. The threading system is electronically controlled and can rethread each needle individually at the touch of a button.
The PR680W includes Brother’s advanced LED pointer positioning system, which helps precisely position your embroidery design on the fabric. This ensures accurate placement, especially for multi-position designs or re-hooping jobs.
The PR680w does not include a camera feature.

Yes. The PR680W can be connected to multiple Brother PR-series machines via Wi-Fi for networked production control. Using the Brother PE-Design 11 software, you can monitor stitch counts, job progress, and queue designs across machines.
Yes. You can resize, rotate, mirror, combine, and recolour designs directly from the 10.1" touchscreen. The editing interface is user-friendly and shows real-time stitch simulation before you start.
The PR680W operates relatively quietly compared to industrial multi-head machines, averaging around 65–70 dB during stitching. This makes it suitable for home studios or retail environments.
Routine maintenance includes regular oiling of the hook assembly, cleaning lint from the bobbin area, and checking thread paths. Our technicians provide full training during installation and can supply a maintenance guide specific to the PR680W.
Yes. The PR680W is compatible with the Brother Cap Frame Set (PRCF3) and Flat Brim Cap Frame Set (PRCF5), allowing you to embroider caps and curved items easily with professional results.
Make a note that there is a Brother Cap Frame Set solely for the 10-needle machines (PRPCF1) which is not compatible with the Brother PR680W - so take care when ordering online.
Yes. The full-colour 10.1” HD LCD display shows true-to-life thread colours, and you can preview your design with the exact stitch sequence and colours before stitching.
No. The PR680W operates on standard 220–240V AC (UK mains) power. No industrial power setup is needed.
